Shary Vargo, managing Director + Senior Consultant
Shary is a management consultant and leadership coach, designing and facilitating human resource management and organisation development initiatives, including: change management, culture change, career management, leadership development, reviews, mentoring and customer service strategies. Her background includes previous employment as a consultant with KPMG and with Right Management, as well as being the Managing Director of a nationwide company. She is experienced in the private and public sectors, large businesses, SMEs, NGOs and the tertiary education sector. Currently, she is a recognised Capability Mentor for MSD’s “Capability Investment” programme, supporting strategic planning and operational initiatives over a wide range of community based organisations.
In addition to her practical experience, Shary holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies, Bachelor’s Degree and an Associate Arts Degree in Education. She is a Certified International Career Transition Coach, a Certified Behavioural Analyst (CPBA) and a Member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ).

kirsty allott, director + senior consultant
Kirsty is a co-director of Vargo + Lewis Consultants. As a management consultant and workplace coach, she specialises in human resource management and organisational development. Specialist skills include adapting HR practices to serve differing businesses and cultures. Her background includes HR Management and Advisory roles within various technology businesses and professional service firms, where alongside the development and implementation of sound HR business practices, she has contributed to the development of people and cultures within settings of diversity, acclimation of agile methodologies, major changes and natural disasters.
Kirsty holds a Commerce Degree majoring in Human Resource Management and Accounting. With experience in accounting, Kirsty also offers sound financial literacy in business management. She is certified in brain based workplace coaching and career coaching, as well as the TTI Insights suite of tools. Kirsty is a Member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ).
